This app does not work. Its junk. Im not saying it needs work Im saying it doesnt work. Its a ripoff,garbage waste of time. Not worth a penny. I want my money back. Ive owned it for 3 minutes and can say without doubt its the worst app I have ever seen. The only effort here is to get your money. Run away

The app is working fine on both my iPad and iPhone 3GS. Coverage in Norfolk, VA is good. As more reporting stations share data, the value of this and other like programs will grow.

Updated 3/13/11 - not sure what developer did but this thing is working 100% for NYC/Newark area. Gtrax has bit the dust and ShipFinder is also running correctly. $24.99 still seems crazy. Does not work in NYC/ Newark Bay/Elizabeth, NJ. They have those areas listed but this and Ship Finder are just plain Bad. I purchased gTrax and it works. They show 18 vessel types and when it shows 50+ vessels the other two POS show nothing.

Good app for me to use for me as a port security supervisor here on the western great lakes area. Though the map does not show active boats traveling from the ports in Lake Superior. I have to go to the ships page its self to see where on the Great Lakes they are. Maybe some help from the creators on this one???? Otherwise a great app! Ive had it for less then 24hrs and have used it a ton!

Doesnt work. Emailed them and they said the antennas are iffy... SO DONT BUY THIS APP!!!

Fleetmon has very poor coverage in the USA along the Gulf Coast. The web site shows that they have and or use many stations, but the only places that you can receive feedback from are New Orleans and Houston/Galveston. When selecting your fleet it dose not show the names of the vessels on the live map screen. This application needs a lot of improvement. Until it has been improved, it is not even worth $5.00.

This app is a major disappointment. The server is always down. Dont waste your money. Poor customer service.

Appreciate the price drop. Cant imagine that youd normally ask folks to pay $25 AND create an account. Why should I create an account for full functionality? Deleted!

But it could stand to use a better mapping background. Google maps even bing maps would be nicer. But it seems to do what it says.

This company continues to email me even after repeatedly asking to be unsubscribed. They do not provide an address or an unsubscribe link. Im worried what they will do with my information. Do not create an account if you dont want to receive unwanted emails you cant stop. App is very buggy and works a quarter of the time then freezes. Do not waste your time.

This is nothing but advertising for a paid app, and there is absolutely no demo to it. Junk like this should never be allowed in the store.

The registration process is nothing but an e-mail harvester. Giving it an e-mail address to set up a log-in has absolutely no result.

The EU/US charts work again after several weeks outage. The receiving stations seem to be iffy and off line as much as on line. In general they are either asleep at the switch, dont care or as so short funded they cant keep it together. As it stands right now its a novel toy app that is of marginal use to amateurs and generally useless to professionals due to its unreliability. Mark Fay MMC Jr. Engineer QMED STCW

Very ungry, impossible to see witch boat is it in the map. You have to pay 54$ to 629$ month to all access!!!! Spent 0.99$ for nothing.

This app flat out doesnt work, and requires expensive subscription to get any useful data. Avoid.
